Yoga classes usually last between 40 and 90 minutes and group class have around 15 students per lesson. held in a calm, relaxing environment.

Advanced yoga classes are available for students who have been practicing yoga regularly over an extended period of time and want to develop their understanding further.

Advanced Yoga classes require students with high stamina and core strength as well as full body awareness as they should be prepared to undertake yoga exercises at a higher skill level.

More vigorous styles of yoga classes include Kundalini yoga and Ashtanga Yoga as well as Power Yoga which are more physically demanding.

Hot Yoga classes such as Bikram yoga and Hot yoga are are increasingly popular and take place in heated rooms designed to cleanse the body of impurities and heating the body to increase flexibility when practicing postures.

This class is for those new to yoga. It meets once each week for four weeks, and is designed to provide you with the fundamentals of yoga and get you started on your own personal yoga path. We’ll cover the basics of yoga asana (poses), pranayama (breath work), and provide insight into the various forms of yoga. Our instructors draw from a vast range of respected yoga traditions; all have exceeded the minimum amount of training and experience required to teach yoga effectively, and many have and trained and taught around the world.

Whether you’re coming to get in better physical condition or simply stop the chaos of your mind, there is a style of yoga that’s right for you. At the end of the four-week series, you will have the opportunity to consult with your instructor about your personal goals and choose the next yoga class(es) that will move you toward these goals.
